1. Deposit.

 

  • To confirm your booking you must pay a deposit of £50.00 (regardless of total disco price) on completion of booking or within 72 hours of booking (including weekends).
  • If you choose to pay your deposit by cheque please post it to us within 48 hours. 
  • A potential booking is not 100% confirmed until the £50.00 deposit has been received.
  • You may only pay your deposit either by cheque or via one of our online payment methods.
  • If you decide to pay your deposit via check please inform us as soon as possible (that day) as online payments are instant.

 

2. Bookings and Payments.

  • The full amount of your agreed Disco price (100% excluding your deposit) must be paid, in full, using one of the following three options:
  1. Cheque Payment at least 10 days before the start of your event.
  2. Online Debit or Credit Card Payment at least 10 days before the start of your event.
  3. Cash Payment – On our arrival to your Venue. Cash payment must be paid in full before we setup our equipment.

 

  • If you wish to pay on the night of the event you must pay by cash on our arrival and not at the end of the event.
  • Please inform us in advance that you wish to pay by cash on the night of your event.
  • If you book us at short notice (less than 10 days before your event) then you must make immediate full payment either by Cheque or via Online Payment. You must inform us that you wish to pay by cash on the night.
  • If you require us to continue our services past the agreed completion time on the night this can be negotiated on the night.
  • We ask that increased or incurred fees on the night to be paid in cash.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a request for increased hours of service if we unfortunately can not accommodate, we recommend requesting this as a possibility prior to the event to avoid disappointment.

 

3. Discounts and Price Matching.

 

  • All discounts and special offers are offered on the total Disco cost only. No other optional extras or disco charges, costs or expenses will be liable to discount.
  • Discounts are not offered on increased or incurred fees.
  • We reserve the right to retract any special offers or discounts without warning if we consider the client/hirer to be abusing the offer.
  • All Discounts and Special offers are only offered to individual clients/hirers and are not to be considered as a general discount or offer unless otherwise stated.
  • The recipient of the offer is the only individual who can claim the offer.
  • All Discounts and Offers are at the discretion of the Spinnin-Sounds Team.
  • We will not price match any offers or quotes unless some form of documentation can be produced to verify its authenticity.
  • We reserve the right not to price match any offer if we consider it to be unreasonable, false or exaggerated in any way.
  • Any form of refund will not include monies deducted because of a discount.


4. Cancellations.

 

  • Please notify us of all cancellations no later than 30 days prior to the start of your event.
  • We offer a 72 hour ‘cooling off’ period from the date of Booking. NOT the date you pay the 20% deposit.
  • If you have paid the 20% deposit and then decide to cancel within 72 hours of booking us we will refund the whole 20% deposit.
  • The 20% deposit is non-refundable at any point after the 72 hour ‘cooling off’ period.
  • If you cancel the booking before 30 days of the event then 80% of the fee will be refunded (if 100% of the full fee has been paid).

Example: You have paid £100 (full disco amount) and you cancel before 30 days you will be refunded £80.

  • If you cancel the booking less than 30 days before the event then we will not refund any of the paid fees this includes the 20% deposit and full amount.
  • We do not offer refunds for cancellations or termination of service due to your breach of our terms & conditions at any point.

 

5. The Venue.

 

  • We can not be held accountable if we are unable to gain access to the venue due to reasons out of our control.

Example: Evacuation or Police prevention.

  • We will always make sensible and responsible efforts to gain access however in some circumstances access may be impossible for reasons out of our control.
  • If we can not gain access for reasons out of our control we will always try to make contact with you or the person responsible for the venue or event.
  • If we are unable to gain access to the venue for reasons out of our control then we will not offer any form of refund.
  • We reserve the right to terminate our service if any individuals present at the event become abusive and/or aggressive towards us or others around us.
  • We will terminate our services without notice if we feel our personal safety is at risk.
  • We do not offer any form of security service and we are not responsible for ejecting anyone from the venue.
  • Our equipment or microphones will not be used for any form of Security PA system.
  • No refund will be given if we terminate our services due to personal safety issues.
  • In the unlikely event of evacuation due to fire, flood, terrorist attack or any other public disturbance we cannot be expected to help in the evacuation. We have not been trained in this practise.
  • No refund will be offered for interruptions or stoppages to your Disco by causes out of our control.
  • We require a minimum space of 3.2m x 1.5m with minimum headroom of 2.2m.
  • We reserve the right to terminate the agreement is we deem the space you have provided us as unsafe or smaller than the specified parameters.
  • We reserve the right to refuse to link any external equipment to ours. Unless it has been pre-agreed. If we consider the equipment to be different to how it was described to us or we deem it to be unsafe then we reserve the right to refuse to use it.
  • We do not allow any individuals to use any of our equipment. 
  • We only use ‘PAT’ tested equipment.
  • We will not accept any responsibility for legal requirements of the venue. We agree to entertain at venues on the condition that they follow all health & safety laws.
  • It is solely the venues responsibility to ensure they have the correct liquor and entertainment licences and not ours.
  • We reserve the right to terminate our agreement, without notice, if we believe the venue is in breach of any legal requirements or laws.
  • It is the responsibility of the hirer and venue to ensure we have a sufficient supply of electrical power in accordance with health & safety guidelines.
  • We require at least 2x 13 amp mains powered socket outlets within a 7m radius of our setup point.
  • Some venues operate limiters and/or noise level cut-off machines, we cannot be held accountable for the effect that this may cause to the volume of our music or the level of service we may be able to provide.

 

6. Equipment.

 

  • We are fully insured with PLI. Our insurer is DJGuard.
  • All our equipment is fully ‘PAT’ tested or within 12 months old.
  • We require at least 1 hour setting up time at the start of the event and 1 hour clearing up time at the end.
  • We will carry all our equipment within a reasonable distance. We do not charge for this however if the distance is considered to be unreasonable or not as previously described to us then a £50 surcharge will be added for long distances.
  • We require a parking space for one vehicle within the immediate vicinity of the venue. It is the clients/hirers responsibility to ensure we have a space made available for us.
  • If parking is chargeable then we ask that the client/hirer pay for the parking fees as part of their booking charges.
  • Please specify the parking charges at the booking stage.
  • We can not be held responsible for damage caused to clients/hirers/venues property/belongings due to the misuse of our equipment by your guests or venue employees.
  • We will pursue payment from the client/hirer for any damage to our equipment that may be caused by your guests due to horse play or malicious vandalism/behaviour.
  • We can not be held accountable for any injury(s) caused to guests or third parties due to horse play or malicious behaviour by your guests or T/P’s.

 

Any breach of our Terms & Conditions will result in the Termination of our Service without warning and costs may still be charged.

 

7. Photographs & Published Photo Albums.

 

  • We may take photos of you, your guests and Disco on the night of your event with the intention of publishing them on our website so you and your guests can view them online for fun and for no other reason.
  • These pictures may & can be viewed by anyone visiting our website unless you instruct otherwise.
  • We may decide to publish your photographs on our websites, associated websites and (on very rare occasions) on our advertising documents for advertising purposes.
  • We will not ask permission to photograph you or your guests so please inform us at the start of your Disco if you would prefer us not to do it.
  • We will not send the photos to you either by email or post.
  • We do not charge you for this service.
  • This practice is above and beyond our Disco packages.
  • We offer this service as a fun extra to your disco package.
  • We do not want to compete with your paid professional photographer. Our photos are very basic and are supposed to be fun and not professional in any way.
  • This practice is not guaranteed and may not happen at your event.
  • If you see your photographs on our website and you would like us to remove them please contact us and they will be removed asap.
  • The published photographs will not be inappropriate in anyway.
